- Speakers are required to mention relevant disclosures at the beginning of their presentations.
- All PowerPoint (PPT) presentations should be in English. At the meeting, you are welcome to present in the language of your preference.
- All faculty should arrive at the Session Room at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session.

Description of Session Roles

Chair/Moderator
Introduce the speakers; keep the session flowing smoothly; make sure the speakers and session stay on time; encourage questions to be asked by the audience and encourage discussion to take place between the panelists, speakers and the audience. Prepare questions in advance in case of lack of questions from the audience.

Panelist
Panelists have been selected for their expertise in order to deliver commentary on the topic under discussion during the designated panel discussion. Panelists should not create a PowerPoint (PPT) presentation.

Speakers
Develop a talk based on the teaching points and create a PowerPoint presentation; make sure that you stay within your allotted time to allow time for questions from the audience.

PowerPoint Presentation
- Use the ‘Download Presenter Template’ button to download a copy of the conference PPT template. You are not required to use this template for your presentation. Only presenters should prepare slides – session chairs/moderators and panelists should not prepare slides.
- If you will be using slides, the best practice is no more than 1 slide per minute of presentation. An 8-minute presentation should have no more than 8 slides. Consider a summary slide that outlines your top 3-5 key takeaways for the audience.
- Presentations must be uploaded at the Audio-Visual Desk in the Session Room.
